Jim Froelich is a certified teaching member of Alexander Technique International (ATI). He comes to the Alexander Technique from a background of studying, teaching and performing with musicians. He has given workshops for musicians demonstrating how changes in their attention and awareness can improve their co-ordination and ease in performing and can help them communicate the music better. Jim has presented the Alexander work to classes of actors and dancers. He has also worked with computer users with repetitive strain injuries.
Jim has studied the Alexander Technique since 1977, when he also received a Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory. He received his Alexander Technique teaching certificate from the Alexander Technique Center at Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has taught privately and given workshops in the Boston area. Jim, who lives near Ashland, Ohio, teaches individual lessons, classes and workshops in northern Ohio.
