By Robert Rickover

Marjorie Barstow was the first person to graduate from F. M. Alexander’s first Alexander Technique teacher training course in London in the early 1930s.  She taught until her death in 1995, living and teaching in Lincoln, Nebraska as well as teaching workshops in the US and overseas.

Her teaching was quite different from most Alexander Technique teachers.  It was much more application oriented and she was also known for her group teaching, long before it became it became acceptable to most AT teachers.

Robert teaches in Omaha, Nebraska and online.  More information about his teaching:  movementcoaching.com
